Discover the wonders of science at the Regional Science Centre, Bhuj, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in August 2022. Spread across 10 acres, the centre is packed with interactive fun — from thrilling simulators and a 3D theatre to a serene bonsai garden. Visitors can explore six fascinating galleries: Space Science, Marine Navigation, Energy Science, Nanotechnology, Bonsai, and the Fields Medal Gallery. The star attraction is India’s largest public space observatory, opened in December 2024, featuring a powerful 24-inch telescope that lets you gaze at planets, stars, and distant galaxies. A must-visit destination for families, students, and curious minds exploring Kutch!

How to Reach:

By Air

The nearest airport is Bhuj Airport (BHU), located around 7 km from the Science Centre. It has direct flights to Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and other major cities. From the airport, local taxis or autos can take you to RSC in 15–20 minutes.

By Train

Bhuj has its own railway station (BHUJ), well connected to major cities like Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Delhi. From the station, the Science Centre is about 5 km away and easily accessible by auto-rickshaw or taxi.

By Road

Regular GSRTC and private buses connect Bhuj with Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Gandhidham, and other parts of Gujarat. The Bhuj bus stand is close to the city centre, just 4–5 km from RSC Bhuj.
